A heavy door shuts, dim lighting – and then the floating chair starts moving silently, as if you are setting off on a journey through space and time. Since 2022, Eatrenalin has been taking fine dining to a new level. Top-class cookery combines with innovative media and motion technology in a sensual journey of a very distinctive sort. The diners glide through various themed rooms, experiencing light, sound and cuisine in the form of dramatically staged choreography.
This experience was re-orchestrated at the beginning of the year: Executive Chef Peter Hagen-Wiest created a series of new fine-dining dishes for the "Red Dimensions" and "Green Dimensions" menu lines in collaboration with Michelin-starred chefs Jacob Jan Boerma and Silvio Germann. In rooms such as Ocean, Umami and Universe, ingredients and flavours combine to create very personal moments – from Hamachi with Yellow Beets to Bellota Iberico Secreto with Chimichurri, enjoyed to the accompaniment of various multimedia elements.
An experience – for chefs and diners
Since 2025, Hagen-Wiest has been pursuing a new concept in Eatrenalin and is setting standards once again. At regular intervals, he invites friends who are Michelin-starred chefs to come in and create new menus with him. Their different signatures come together to form a harmonious overall composition. "Working on an idea with friends and giving each room a feel of its own is a very special experience – for us as chefs and for the diner," says Hagen-Wiest. Eatrenalin is taking bookings for visitors without accommodation until 31 August 2026 and for hotel guests until 10 January 2027.
