Rulantica water world has won the "EWA Professional Award" – a prize given by the "European Waterpark Association" for particularly innovative design of attractions. The award went to the new "Svømmepøl" outdoor pool, which measures 660 square metres. With a Nordic volcano design, gently bubbling water loungers, geysers, shady spots to relax and the "Svømme-Bar", the pool is an experience for visitors of all ages. The "Svømmepøl" is also used for DLRG lifesaving training and swimming lessons. All of those aspects were considered for the award, as the EWA recognises concepts that offer both a high-quality experience and sustainability or social benefits.
