Many of you love Europa-Park when it is wrapped up in a fairytale winter wonderland. The winter atmosphere becomes even more emotional in the evening, when Europa-Park turns into a sea of millions of lights. With thousands of Christmas trees and more than 10,000 Christmas baubles, we spare no effort to make Europa-Park look extra special for the winter season. As well as classics such as the Ferris wheel and the traditional Christmas market, we are constantly creating new attractions, such as the show programme, to enchant you during this special time of year. One of the attractions at the Rulantica water world has been improved. The "Tønnevirvel" ride with its spray guns will be enclosed, making it winter-friendly. Even in the cold season, the interactive water fun should be extremely lively.
In Rulantica, a very special year will also be ushered in with a Nordic Festival of Lights from 13 January to 21 March 2025. Then the water world is transformed into a sparkling sea of magical illuminations. Daily shows provide additional fun. So begins our big anniversary season: It's hard to believe that almost 50 years ago my father founded Europa-Park together with my grandad. We are starting our anniversary season on 1 January: On 12 July 2025, Europa-Park will turn 50! It is definitely one of the most beautiful places in the world. Our family is very grateful. Without you, dear guests, this development would not have been possible. For this, I would like to thank with all my heart.
