Europa-Park celebrated its 50th anniversary with a glittering weekend of festivities from 11 to 13 July (see the “Mack Times” following the “Resort News”). The Mack family invited guests to a colourful mix of action, emotion and glamour. Even the start caused a stir: two wingsuit skydivers jumped out of the Europa-Park Zeppelin and landed right on time in the Portuguese themed area before celebrities such as Christian Wulff, Jürgen Klopp and Mario Barth walked along the blue carpet at the big anniversary gala. With the theme “Celebrating under the stars”, guests were then able to experience the park until midnight – with illuminated attractions, fireworks, live music, art installations and the premiere of the specially produced film “Grand Prix of Europe”.

The celebrations continue

Europa-Park is not just a leisure destination, but also a place where you can enjoy time together, where memories are cherished and visions for the future are created. The celebrations are far from over: visitors can expect even more highlights until the end of the season such as new shows, theme parties, the big parade, a 24-hour opening on 23 August and the start of DJ BoBo’s new tour in January 2026 in the Europa-Park Arena.
