There are more than 11,000 hotels in Germany. The aim of the ranking “101 best hotels in Germany” by initiator Carsten K. Rath is to find the best ones. Europa-Park was the host for this industry event for the first time. In the exceptional ambience of the “Europa-Park Teatro” and the “Baalsaal Berlin”, hotels and personalities were honoured during the “101 Soirée”, who have a substantial influence on the German hotel industry. The Hotel Fairmont Vier Jahreszeiten Hamburg was placed first in the overall rankings for the third time in succession.
Carsten K. Rath is regarded as a “rockstar” of the grand hotel business. During his career, he has opened legendary luxury hotels, such as the Adlon in Berlin, as well as large tourism corporations. These days, Rath is active as a speaker, coach and author. His comments about the Europa-Park experience resort: “Here everything is perfectly coordinated, from the entertainment programme via the spa to the gastronomy concept.”
