Our family has always acted sustainably. The beginning of our company dates back some 250 years, and without a focus on sustainability we would no longer exist. Today, the Europa-Park Resort is a direct employer for almost 5,000 people and indirectly provides an additional 10,000 jobs. Of course, our company must always be profitable, but that is by no means in contradiction to sustainability. For example, we are investing in the largest photovoltaic car park roof in Germany. In the summer months, Europa-Park will
be almost self-sufficient in terms of electricity from renewable energy sources. Sustainability has many more facets than environmental and climate protection. It starts with the staff, touches on our roots in the region and extends to our treatment of people with disabilities. Our company in particular understands sustainability in all its facets and implements the principle of action in many areas.
