Eatrenalin star chef Alexander Mayer is the new head chef

The multi-award-winning top chef Alexander Mayer is the new head chef at the fine dining restaurant Eatrenalin. From the end of March, guests can expect a completely revised menu with Mayer's signature style. It will combine French classicism with modern style and international influences. The new Head Chef was most recently responsible for the kitchen of the Atlantic Restaurant in the eponymous Grand Hotel on Hamburg's Aussenalster Lake. Under his management, the restaurant was awarded a star in the Michelin Guide and the trade magazine ‘Der Feinschmecker’ named him ‘Chef of the Month May 2024’.

Opening at the end of 2022, the world-first restaurant Eatrenalin combines top gastronomic performance with an impressive interplay of visual, acoustic and tactile impressions. ‘I have been following the development with enthusiasm since the opening and have always been fascinated by the innovative and unique overall concept’, says Mayer. ‘When I heard about the planned change at the head of the kitchen brigade, I didn't hesitate for a moment to seize this special opportunity.’ Thomas Mack, Managing Director of Eatrenalin and Managing Partner of Europa-Park, is delighted with the new addition from Hamburg: ‘My heartfelt thanks go to the previous head chefs Juliana Clementz and Ties van Oosten for their commitment and inspiring creations over the past two years. I would like to welcome Alexander Mayer – with him, guests can expect an innovative menu that combines classic elegance with modern sophistication.’
