New winter show on the Europa lake

The daylight is fading, darkness is drawing in slowly. But a very special event is about to begin in Europa-Park, illuminated by the sparkle of thousands of lights: the winter show at the Lake House on the Europa lake. Families, couples and friends gather – the air is filled with music, twinkling lights and the scent of roasted almonds. A steamer with Ed Euromaus and Edda Euromausi on board quietly sets sail. Water fountains play around the boat, beautifully illuminated in harmony with the music. Projections of “50 years of Europa-Park” appear on a fountain shooting metres into the sky at the centre of the spectacle. Firework effects provide further moments of amazement. The spectators follow the drama with eyes wide open – especially the little ones. “Look, the water is shooting right up into the air,” shouts a little boy, full of enthusiasm. His words bring a smile to the faces of the adults, too.

Pure magic

With the new programme of “Aquatique Show”, music and light coalesce into a true feast for the senses. The specialists from Strasbourg have been designing water fountains and effects in large numbers for Europa-Park since 2004, including the “Tornado Fountain” in front of the “Colosseo” hotel and the elements for the boat ride “Josefina’s Magical Imperial Journey”.

The new show on the subject of “50 years of Europa-Park” brings a magical end to a winter’s day in Germany’s largest theme park, a spectacle that shines and sparkles and makes your heart beat faster – as colourful as a rainbow.

The breathtaking show runs until 18 January.
