Peter Gaymann exhibition "Lachen im Dreiländereck"

To mark the 75th birthday of the cartoonist Peter Gaymann, Europa-Park is staging an exhibition that runs until 18 January of over 80 originals, signed prints and sculptures by the popular artist. The “Lachen im Dreiländereck” (Laughter Where Three Countries Meet) exhibition in the Blue Fire Dome is dedicated not only to Gaymann’s life’s work, but also to the humour of the Upper Rhine region. With a fine sense of humour and his legendary chickens, Haymann holds up a mirror to society in a charming way.

Many of the works are premieres – created specially for Europa-Park. The native of Freiburg brings together people from Germany, France and Switzerland in his drawings – with humour, warmth and a sharp eye for human relationships. Park owner Roland Mark summarizes it well: “With his humour and warmth, Peter Gaymann is the perfect fit for Europa-Park. The visitors love his drawings because they are never mean but always have a point to make.”
