Monaco becomes 18th European themed area

Europa-Park has added a touch of glamour to what it has to offer: the 18th European themed area has been created – and it is dedicated to Monaco. It combines lifestyle, motor sport and riviera glamour. Visitors can immerse themselves in the Mediterranean world of the principality – from the legendary streets of the Monaco Grand Prix, through yacht harbours and the casino, to picturesque lanes and culinary highlights.

Dive into motor racing

One of the focal points is the exciting atmosphere that surrounds motor sport: moments from races, exhibits from the royal vehicle collection and immersive simulations of the start and the finishing straight convey the excitement, speed and elegance of the famous race.

Visitors can even immerse themselves in the events of a race with interactive driving simulators. At the same time, the area highlights environmental and marine protection: visitors learn in an engaging way about all the hard work that Prince Albert II puts in to protect the oceans and marine biodiversity.

Prince Albert II of Monaco is very happy with our partnership, which will give millions of visitors more information about his principality: "Europa-Park has been giving pleasure to millions of children and families for over 50 years. What could be better? The Mack family and all the staff at Europa-Park have created a wonderful venture that sets the standard for the whole of Europe. On behalf of the Principality of Monaco, I welcome our closer collaboration with Europa-Park."
